Want to help strengthen operations behind the scenes so we can better serve East Harris County families? Join us as an Operations & Storage Optimization Volunteer at the EHCEC Office. This hands-on opportunity will support major organizational improvements that increase efficiency and help our team better prepare for community programs and distributions. We need volunteers like you to make it happen.

Event: Operations & Storage Optimization Volunteer
Date: Friday, February 20, 2026
Time: 4–6 hour shifts available
Location: EHCEC Office (11821 East Fwy Suite 500, Houston, TX 77029)
What Volunteers Do:
● Reorganize and clear out the storage room
● Improve labeling and storage systems
● Move and sort materials and supplies
● Support operational projects designed to increase efficiency

Orientation Information:
Once you have applied for the volunteer position, EHCEC Staff will send you an email with an invitation to an upcoming virtual volunteer orientation for that specific event/opportunity. Orientation is not more than 30 minutes to get connected with your volunteer coordinator, ask questions, and receive information on roles and responsibilities.
