The East Harris County Empowerment Council is seeking volunteers to help us organize and deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) manuals to teachers, counselors, and administrators at six local schools. These manuals will support school staff in building the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond to youth mental health needs.

Volunteer Responsibilities:
Sort and organize YMHFA manuals for distribution
Pack manuals into boxes labeled for each school
Assist with transporting and delivering manuals to schools
Provide support to EHCEC staff in coordinating deliveries

McGhee Elementary School
Harvey Brown Elementary School
Hamblen Elementary School
De Zavala Elementary School
Barrett-Lee Early Childhood Center
What to Expect:
Light to moderate physical activity (lifting boxes of manuals)
Transportation and coordination
Supplies (boxes, labels, carts) will be provided
