Description:
HCA Houston Hospital Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation doctors and physical therapists will lead a discussion on pelvic-floor health—highlighting how to recognize and address issues that are often mistaken as simply “normal aging.” Practical tips on safe use of walkers and canes, plus easy daily exercises to improve strength, balance, and fall prevention.

Volunteer Tasks:
Event Setup & Breakdown:
- Unload, arrange, and pack up tables, chairs, signage, and AV equipment before and after the event.
- Ensure all materials (tablecloths, promo items, food service supplies) are correctly placed and then stowed away.
Sign-In Table & Resource Station:
- Greet attendees, check names off the list, distribute name badges, and direct them to seating.
- Hand out program packets, surveys, and promotional materials at the resource table.
Assist Seniors with Light Exercises:
- Support presenters by guiding seniors through daily-mobility demos and pelvic-floor routines.
- Offer hands-on help for balance, ensure proper form, and provide encouragement throughout each exercise.
